Our Needs: By 2015, our new non-negotiable needs as a family of four, with one working parent and one stay-at-home parent of a young toddler and a small kid about to start Kindergarten had become: a stronger Public School district, a little more land, no HOA overseeing our building, and a few extra “musts” in our home (a covered porch, a two-car garage, and one extra room so the kids had room to freely play indoors in the long winter months).
Current thoughts: My interior design business, and the personal side of our business, our blog, both blossomed from our love of this home. Our growth parallels the tremendous journey of transformation our home went through. How we have peeled each other’s layers, challenged each other, and changed each other’s focuses.
